VANAPRASTHA ASHRAM (Formerly known as SENIOR CITIZEN’S SETTLEMENT FOUNDATION) was formed and registered as non profit organisation in year 1996 under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956, with a mandate to build and provide a campus housing senior citizens under a secured and comfortable environment.
VANAPRASTHA ASHRAM has always placed highest importance to ‘concern” above all because it’s the concern that leads to care which ultimately propels one to create comfort.

Our vision
To establish, run and maintain residences for senior citizens to enable them to live in healthy surroundings.
The ultimate goal is to build up a community of confident, healthy and wise citizens with an emphasis on the social, moral and cultural and religious values.
Our Mission
Backing this vision is VANAPRASTHA ASHRAM’s mission to identify and create senior citizen campuses across multiple locations.
VANAPRASTHA ASHRAM has already identified three locations for this. The first of its projects Sringeri Home has been set up at Sringeri, followed by a residential campus at Bangalore and one more proposed in the Greater Mumbai area.
