Location

Located on the outskirts of Jagidenahalli, known for archeological discoveries, 9 km from Malur Juction on the way to Chennai, 10 km from Kolar. About 40 km from Bangalore airport and train stations.

Weather

The area enjoys a mild sub-tropical weather with temperatures between 26 degrees celsius in winter months and 34 degrees in summer.

Near the city of Bangalore, Saptamata temple nearby, Kaikondrahalli Lake, Jadigenahalli Archeological park.

Built on the principles of Karma Yoga

This location was an apt choice for a Senior home as many seniors have their children working in the Bangalore area. This area provides the necessary solitude and independence while keeping the seniors at a nearby distance from their loved ones. Visitors are provided accommodation within campus as per request.

24*7 water supply with solar heaters
The water is available throughout the year and is copiously used for washing and other utilities. There is also a bore well dug specifically for drinking water (tested for its purity) connected to the kitchen with RO filters. The Home provides a sufficient quantity of boiled and cooled water to residents.
We are currently working to add Solar panels for this site.
Healthy food
We have a modern utilitarian kitchen that is set up to deliver healthy food. Food is provided 3 times a day in the dining area. Each apartment comes with a kitchenette to allow the residents to prepare easy items like tea or coffee.
Rooms
  • Size varies from 400 sq ft to 700 sq ft. Includes a welcome area, bed room and a kitchenette for small preparations.
  • Table and a chair with either a Godrej almirah or a built in cupboard with fans
  • Adequate storage facilities and washing facilities
  • Attached bath and European WC, appropriate for the elderly.
Meeting place

There is a library as well as a dias with facilities for exhibiting films and a meeting place for senior citizens.

Periodic health checkups

We organize regular health check-ups for the residents. Qualified doctors visit the Home every fortnight and examine every resident.
